It's true in every way, shape and form. If you can't look past that blemished face to the beauty in their soul... is that true love? If you can't see their every scar and the reason it's there?
(personally, I hate one-sided love like that... the person you love looks into your eyes, but only your eyes and not past them. They look at you blindly and don't see how much you would give for them.)
